When will I receive the Crumb’s Cranium software after I make the purchase?
Immediatly after your credit card information has been accepted, you will be directed to the Crumb's Cranium website download page where you will be able to download the software. You will need to enter your registration key ( sent to you by email) and email address to activate the software.
Is Crumb’s Cranium just for general dental practices?
Yes, at this time the software is specific for general dentistry.
Is any dental experience required for using Crumb’s Cranium?
No, not really. This software is designed to guide your staff person through a logical sequence of questions for the patient to answer. In fact, consistently using Crumb’s Cranium will actually train an inexperienced staff person to think and recognize the information that dentists need to efficiently deal with dental emergencies.
How accurate is the Cranium part of the software?
We have estimated that if the questions are asked and answered accurately, the logic part of Cranium will suggest reasonable clinical impressions in greater than 70% of the time.
My practice is paperless. Can I save the summary page of Crumb’s Cranium on my computer?
Yes, there is a save feature that saves the Crumb’s Cranium data on your patient to your computer in a history file. Saved files are listed by the patient’s name and the date the data was recorded. Access these files by looking in C:/Cranium/history.
Do I have to close the Crumb’s Cranium software to continue using our office software program?
No, we recommend that you print and/or save the data on each patient and then select the Start Over button to prepare for a new patient. Then just minimize Crumb’s Cranium until you need it again.
